The Rupin Pass is a high altitude trek which starts from Dhaula in Uttarakhand and ends at Sangla, Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the high range expeditions for trekking in India as the maximum altitude is around 15,250 feet. Apart from attracting adventure lovers the diversified number of sceneries lures many nature lovers.

Rupin Pass is an ideal trek for adventure as it offers challenging trek to every type of terrain, be it on snow, rocky terrain, or meadows. The difficult trek is allowed only for people above the age of 14. There are numerous surprises on the trek. Thousands of waterfalls, a Hanging Village uniquely positioned at the utmost edge of the mountain and numerous snow bridges on the way. The view of Kinner Kailash Peak is also spellbinding.

The adventurous 7-day trek starts at Daula (5,500 ft.) to Sewa (6,300 ft.) after which you camp for the night. The 7 km trek is to be covered in 6 hours. Pass through the hamlets and picturesque scenery. Next day, trek 9 km to Jhaka (8,700 ft.) in 7 hours before settling for the night. Begin 5 km trek to Saruwas thatch (11,150 ft.) Next stop is Dhanderas thatch (11,680 ft.). The 5 km trail can b covered in 4 hours. Get to the Rupin Pass camp at 13,120 ft., in 3 hours. Trek to the height of at 15250 ft. to the Rupin Pass. Witness summits of Kinner Kailash range. Breathe in the scenery for a bit and then begin the descent to Ronti Gad (13,420 ft). The 10 km trail requires 11 hours. Descend 12 km to Sangla at 8,800 ft. in 6 hours. From Sangla reach your destination by road.
