The Chandragiri Fort is situated at the banks of the Chandragiri River flowing through the blessed hills of Chandragiri.Acting as a mark of the between Kerala and the Tuluva Kingdom, the Chandragiri river hassignificantly blessed the area. The high point of the Fort offers a spectacular view of the meandering Chandragiri River joining the cerulean Arabian Sea.It is also one of the wonderful places to savor a golden sunset. The Fort is said to have been built in the 17th century by Sivappa Nayak of Bednore.
