Itinerary - Chardham Yatra by Helicopter

Day 1: Dehradun: Arrival and Briefing about the Tour

Your holy tour begins in Dehradun. On arrival at Dehradun airport or railway station, meet and greet our representative and get an assisted transfer to the hotel. Once reached, complete the check-in formalities, and relax. Later in the evening, our representative will be briefing about the tour and will hand over Duffel Bags for carrying the necessary luggage for the journey ahead. After the briefing, surrender yourself to the world of dreams.

It is recommended to keep only the most necessary items in the duffle bags, no guests are allowed to carry their own luggage bags in the helicopter.

Day 2: Dehradun - Kharsali (Yamunotri Temple) (8 km/ 30 min + 6 km trek)

The next morning checkout from the hotel at Dehradun around 6:00 am. Today, you will be transferred to Sahastradhara Helipad, from where you will officially begin your holy yatra. After reaching Sahastradhara Helipad enjoy your chopper ride to Kharsali. On arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your respective hotel by our ground crew. After reaching the hotel complete your check-in formalities and enjoy your delicious breakfast. Later you will be taken for the darshan by Palki/Pony. Enjoy a hot spring bath at Yamunotri Temple. Post Darshan, pay a visit to Shani Temple and seek blessings. After an amazing day, get over the journey fatigue with a sound sleep.

Travel Time: 6 hours approx (round trip)

Day 3: Kharsali - Harsil (Gangotri Temple) by Helicopter (4 hours)

Greet the early morning sun, check out from the hotel around 6:30 am, and get ready to catch your next destination, which is Gangotri Dham/Temple. Today you will be transferred to the Kharsali helipad, on arrival get ready to enjoy a 30 minutes chopper ride to reach Harsil. On arrival, you will get an assisted transfer to your hotel. After reaching, complete your check-in formalities, relax and enjoy the delicious breakfast. Later get ready to pay a visit to the Gangotri Temple.

After reaching Gangotri take a holy dip in the pious river the Ganges and then pay a visit to the Gangotri Temple. Post darshan, get ready to enjoy the sightseeing tour. Visit attractions such as Bagodi Village, Mukhwa Village, and Shiv Temple near Harsil. Also, enjoy a beautiful nature walk near Jhalla, and a short trek to Chholmi village. Later get back to the hotel and spend the rest of the time at leisure. Overnight stay in Harsil.

Travel Time: 4 hours approx (round trip)

Day 4: Harsil - Sersi (Kedarnath Temple)

On day 4 of your Chardham Yatra by Helicopter tour, wake up early in the morning, enjoy your delicious breakfast, and complete the checkout formalities. Leave the hotel around 7 am. Today you will be transferred to the Harsil helipad, on arrival get ready to enjoy a 30 minutes chopper ride to reach Sersi.

On arrival, you will get an assisted transfer to your hotel. After reaching the hotel, complete your check-in formalities, relax and enjoy the delicious breakfast. Later, get ready to be shuttled to Kedarnath Ji helipad via helicopter. On arrival, our crew will escort you to the temple. Post darshan, get back to the Kedarnath Ji helipad. Later enjoy sightseeing at Sersi, and visit Kalimath Mandir, Gaurikund, and Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Guptkashi. After the sightseeing, return to the hotel and enjoy your dinner. An overnight stay at the hotel for deep sleep.

Day 5: Sersi (Kedarnath Temple) - Badrinath (Badrinath Temple)

The next morning savor some toothsome breakfast and checkout from the hotel around 8 am. Today, you will be transferred to Badrinath via helicopter from Sersi. After reaching Badrinath you will be assisted to your hotel. On reaching the hotel, complete your check-in formalities and relax. Badrinath is one of the pre-eminent pilgrimage places among Hindus, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Later in the noon, visit the Badrinath shrine and enjoy the holy darshan. Before entering the temple, take a holy dip in the Tapt Kund, a hot spring. Post darshan, get ready to enjoy sightseeing. Visit Mana Village, the last village in India, explore the local market, and shop for souvenirs. Later, get back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner and have a restful sleep.

Note: You can also perform Swaran Aarti/Chandi Aarti in the evening at Badrinath (on an additional payment basis).

Day 6: Badrinath - Dehradun

Wake up to an appetizing breakfast and complete your checkout formalities. As your Char Dham Yatra 2022 by helicopter concludes here, you will be transferred to Sahastradhara. After reaching Sahastradhara, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel at Dehradun for the collection of your respective luggage from the cloakroom. Later you will be transferred to the airport/railway station for your journey back home.

Note: If you wish to spend a night at Dehradun, accommodations can be arranged at an additional cost. This should be informed before the time of booking.

Ans: Yes, visitors are now allowed for Chardham Yatra. Pilgrims from other states of India will now be able to visit the four holy shrines of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri, and Gangotri. As per the COVID guidelines, pilgrims are required to bring a negative RT-PCR test report, and only fully vaccinated devotees are allowed to visit for the holy journey.
