The journey to Gangtok starts as you arrive at Bagdogra Airport. On arrival, you will be welcomed by our tour representative, who will assist you with a private transfer to your pre-booked New Orchid/ Denzong Shangrila hotel. After reaching there, you will complete your check-in formality and head to your room to unwind yourself. Once done, the rest of the day is free at leisure. You can explore the nearby areas in the evening by yourself. Next, you will enjoy the luscious dinner in your hotel and have an overnight stay in your room.

On this second day of your Gangtok tour, you will kickstart your day with a fresh and tasty breakfast meal. After finishing your meal, you will proceed for a day trip to Tsomgo Lake, which is also famous as Change Lake. This lake is one of the most popular tourist attractions, located on the road towards the Nathu La Pass. You will spend some time here and observe the beautiful surroundings.
Next, you will visit Baba Mandir, which is built in the memory of Brave Indian soldier Harbhajan Singh, who lost his life during the war near the Nathu La Pass. Later, you will get back to Gangtok and enjoy the shopping in the evening time. You will head to M G Marg and Lal Bazar, some of the best local markets of Gangtok. These are foreign-style markets that give you a brilliant shopping experience. You can shop for canvas wall Hangings, Sikkimese Traditional Dress, Thangkas, Woollen Carpets, Traditional Folding Tables, Tea, etc. Later, you will proceed to your hotel. Enjoy the mouthwatering dinner and jump onto your bed for a restful sleep.
Get up early in the morning and have your morning meal. Today you are going to cover the attractions of Gangtok. Post-breakfast, you will embark on this city tour, but don't forget to keep a camera with you. Firstly, you will visit the Tashi viewpoint, where you will catch the mesmerizing view of mountains and valleys. After that, you will move to Ganesh Tok & Hanuman Tok to enjoy the spectacular view and feel the cool breeze.
Later, you will move to the beautiful Ranka Monastery, where you will see Tibetan architecture. Next, you will cover Banjhakri Falls, Cottage Industry, Dro-Dul Chorten, Institute of Tibetology, Flower Show, and Handicraft Centre. After covering these tourist attractions, you will come to your hotel. Have a lip-smacking dinner and get a peaceful sleep on your comfy bed.
