Itinerary - Real Wildlife Tour of North East India

Day 1 - Guwahati - Manas National Park

After you land at Guwahati Airport, our representative will greet and transfer you to Manas National Park (3 to 4 hours). It is an elephant reserve, a biosphere reserve, a Project Tiger reserve, and also a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, check in to a jungle lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Manas National Park

Arise for a hearty breakfast and proceed for a short tour to the tea gardens. Learn about tea production and then, walk around the ethnic villages located around the national park.

Post lunch, set off on a 4-hour wildlife safari and explore the core area of Manas National Park. In the evening, enjoy a night safari with floodlights and spot the wild animals in the darkness. Afterward, return to the lodge and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 3 - Manas National Park - Nameri National Park

Wake up early and enjoy a 3-hour jeep safari. Come back to the jungle lodge for breakfast, check out, and leave for Nameri National Park (6 hours drive). Once reached, check-in at the jungle cottage and spend a restful night.

Day 4 - Nameri National Park

Today, you will wake up early in the morning for a nature walk in the wildlife reserve. Listen to the birds chirping and explore the biodiversity of Nameri National Park. If you are lucky, you might see large mammals like elephants, tigers, leopards, and more.

Come back to the lodge for breakfast and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy bird watching and rest at the cottage. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and later, sleep comfortably.

Day 5 - Nameri National Park - Kaziranga National Park

Savor a healthy breakfast and check out. On day 5 of your Wildlife in North East India tour, you will proceed to Kaziranga National Park. It is one of the renowned national parks in India and is known for its population of one-horned rhinos.

Enjoy the 2-hour drive and upon arrival, check-in at the jungle lodge and unwind. In the afternoon, enjoy an elephant safari to the central range of the national park. The evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Kaziranga National Park.

Day 6 - Kaziranga National Park

Post an early breakfast, go for an exciting jeep safari in the central range of the national park. Witness the variety of animals and birds of Kaziranga. Also, witness herds of Otters, Deer, Rhinos, and more. You can also catch the sight of an elusive tiger roaming in the jungle and a giant wild elephant. In the afternoon, enjoy a safari in the western range of the national park. The evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay in a jungle lodge.

Day 7 - Kaziranga National Park - Dibru Saikhowa National Park

On day 7 of your Real Wildlife Tour of North East India, wake up and savor breakfast. Leave for Dibru Saikhowa National Park. It is known for its wild horses and white-winged wood duck, leopard tiger, and Asiatic buffalo. It also houses more than 250 varieties of birds.

On arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest. You can explore the insides of the park on your own. Overnight stay in Dibrugarh.

Day 8 - Dibru Saikhowa National Park - Namdapha National Park

Once you have your breakfast, check out and leave for Namdapha National Park in Miao. Enjoy the ride and once reached, check-in at the tented accommodation inside the park. Namdapha National Park is known for a wide range of animals including clouded leopard, snow leopard, and tiger. Gaur, elephant, Himalayan black bear, wild goat, musk deer, etc. are some of the animal species you can find inside the park. Overnight stay in the national park.

Day 9 - Namdapha National Park

Day 9 of your wildlife tour in the North East is reserved for a birding tour in Namdapha National Park. Ibisbill, White-bellied Heron, Crested and Blyth's Kingfisher, Snowy throated Babbler, Rufous-necked Laughingthrush, Sultan Tit, Beautiful Nuthatch, etc. are some of the famous bird species you will find in this park.

Later, trek from Deban to Hornbill Camp (12 km). You can also see many exotic and endangered species of mammals and more than 500 species of birds, which makes it a favorite among wildlife enthusiasts.

Enjoy the rest of the day birdwatching and later, come back to the tent for an overnight stay.

Day 10 - Departure from Dibrugarh

This is the last day of your North East wildlife tour. After breakfast, say goodbye to the Namdapha National Park and drive to Dibrugarh Airport/Railway Station for onward destinations with pleasant memories.
