Our two week long ‘Royal Palaces of Rajasthan’ tour package has been designed to give you a sneak peek into the lifestyle of erstwhile maharajas of India, who patronized the construction of these edifices.

Itinerary - Royal Palaces of Rajasthan

Day 1 - Delhi (Arrival)

Upon arrival at the Delhi airport/railway station, meet our tour representative and get transferred to the hotel for overnight stay. If you wish, you can go out and try some local delicacies.

Day 2 - Delhi Sightseeing

On the 2nd day, Post Breakfast you will proceed from Hotel to enjoy local Sightseeing of New Delhi.

Qutub Minar: This 72.5 meter victory tower , an excellent example of architecture in Afghanistan has been given World Heritage Site status . QutubMinar was built in the 12th century by QutubuddinAibak.

Bahai Temple: Situated in South Delhi ,Bahai temple is also known as "The Lotus Temple" due to its unique lotus shaped design in Marble. The temple was built in 1987 by the followers of Bahai faith. It is closed on each Monday.

After this drive by the India Gate, Parliament House and Chanakya Puri - area where all the embassies and the high commissions are located.

Red Fort: Built by Shahjahan, the builder of Taj Mahal in Agra, The construction lasted from 1639 to 1648 (Monday Closed) Old Fort: Monday Only. Built in 1648 ,by Shahjahan, who also built the Taj Mahal in Agra.

Rajghat: The simple design of a square platform built in black marble marks the place where Mahatama Gandhi was cremated.

Humayun's Tomb: Built by Humayun's widow, Queen Haji Begum in the sixteenth century, it is supposed to be a prototype of the Taj Mahal.

Come back to Hotel for an overnight Stay in New Delhi.

Day 3 - Delhi - Agra

Today, leave by road for Agra. It is just a 4 hour drive from Delhi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Later, go out on a sightseeing tour of Agra. The first attraction you will visit include Taj Mahal. It is a white marble mausoleum built to commemorate the love of Shah Jahan for Mumtaz Mahal. Thereafter you will be taken to Agra Fort followed by Itmad-Ud-Daula Tomb. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 4 - Agra - Jaipur

In the morning, take a road journey to Jaipur. It is approximately a 5 hour journey. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri. The red-sandstone city is full of Mughal artistic marvels such as Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, Jodha Bai Palace and Panch Mahal. On reaching Jaipur, check into the hotel for night stay.

Day 5 - Jaipur

Today, in the morning, go out on a trip to Amber Fort where you'll hop on an elephant and enjoy the joy ride till you reach the entrance point. In the afternoon, go out on a sightseeing tour of City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Nawab Sahab ki Haveli and the bazaar. Later, return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 6 - Jaipur - Samode

In the morning, proceed on a road journey to Samode, which is around 60 kilometers from Jaipur. On reaching Samode, check into the Samode Palace. In the evening, go out to explore the surrounding areas. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 7 - Samode - Mandawa

In the morning, leave by road for Mandawa. It takes a 4 hour journey to reach Mandawa. On reaching Mandawa, check into the Castle Mandawa. The evening is booked to visit the Shekhawati region famous for its painted havelis. This will be followed by a 1 hour camel ride. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 8 - Mandawa - Khimsar

In the morning, take a road trip to Khimsar, which is around 210 kilometers away from Mandawa. On reaching Khimsar, check into the Khimsar Fort. The afternoon is booked to explore the majestic sand dunes of Khimsar. By evening, return to the Khimsar Fort for overnight stay.

Day 9 - Khimsar - Jaisalmer

Post breakfast in the morning, leave by road for Jaisalmer. One of the most prominent destinations in Rajasthan, Jaisalmer is a tiny jewel in the heart of the Great Indian Desert-Thar. Upon arrival, check in at the Fort Rajwada. The evening is booked to explore the surroundings of this fortified city. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

Day 10 - Jaisalmer

Post breakfast in the morning, go out for a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. The places covered in Jaisalmer include Jaisalmer Fort, Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli, Patwon-Ki-Haveli and Megh Durbar. This will be followed by Lodurva- a village in the outskirts of Jaisalmer famous for its Jain temples. In the evening, enjoy a camel ride at Sam sand dunes. Later, return back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 11 - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

In the morning, leave by road for Jodhpur. It is a 6 hour drive from Jaisalmer. On reaching Jodhpur, check in at the Umaid Bhawan Palace. The evening is free to explore the surroundings and the local bazaars. Stay overnight at the hotel in Jodhpur.

Day 12 - Jodhpur

In the morning, embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur. The places you will visit here include Mehrangarh Fort (one of the largest forts in India) and Jaswant Thada (the 19th century white marble royal cenotaph). The evening is free at leisure. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

Day 13 - Jodhpur - Udaipur

In the morning, leave by road for Udaipur. It is a 6 hour journey from Jodhpur. On the way, visit the famous Ranakpur temples, famous as a Jain pilgrimage center. On reaching Udaipur, check into the Lake Palace. The evening is booked to explore the local bazaars of Udaipur. Return to the hotel for night stay.

Day 14 - Udaipur

In the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur. The attractions you will visit include Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon ki Baari, City Palace and the Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir. In the evening, enjoy a boat ride on the Lake Pichola. Stay overnight at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 15 - Udaipur - Delhi

The morning is free to relax and rest. Alternatively, you can choose to visit the local markets for some last minute shopping. In the afternoon, drive to the airport to board flight for Delhi. On reaching Delhi, meet our representative and drive to the international airport to board flight back home.
