On your arrival at Coimbatore airport meet our tour representative and get transferred to Ooty. Check-in at a pre-booked hotel and settle down. Rest of the day is at leisure; spend some quality time in the hotel room.

Popular as the 'Queen of hill stations', Udhagamandalam (Ooty) is considered as the paradise for nature lovers. It is one of the favorite hill stations that remain etched in the memories of travelers for years. Here, one can have a vivid view of tea and coffee farms, trees of conifers and pine.

Some of the important attractions that you may visit in Ooty are Avalanche valley, Kalhatti falls, Government museum and Raj Bhawan

Today get ready to visit some of the important places of interest in Ooty. Begin your trip with Doddetta peak which is around 8km away from the main town. Settled at an altitude up to 2623m, Dodetta is the highest peak of Nilgiri Mountain range. From top of the peak you can adore the beautiful town Coimbatore and other adjoining areas. Heading forward, you get to see a Telescope house at the peak, offering great view of slopes and magnificent Chamundi Hills (around 12km away from Mysore).

You can also explore the major attractions including Botanical Garden and Ooty Lake. Botanical garden in Ooty (around 2km) is a paradise for nature lovers and boasts of wide variety of flora and fauna. Spend some serene moments at Ooty Lake and enjoy the attractive surrounding of tall Eucalyptus trees.

Get back to the hotel for overnight stay.

On third day, drive to Coonoor; one of the most popular hill stations, in the Nilgiri district of Tamil Nadu, located at a height up to 1850m above the sea level. The place is best-known for its lush tea farms and exciting adventures. The tranquility and the natural beauty of the place open arms to people from all around the world.

You may visit some of the prime attractions of the place including Lamb's Rock (one of the notable viewpoints offering panoramic view of picturesque Coonoor) and Lady Canning's seat (an old mansion marking the old world charm).

A great place for plant lovers, Sim's Park is one of the major tourist attractions in Coonoor. The park boasts of a massive collection of trees from Mexico, Australia and West Indies. And in-addition, the park also comprises of Burma teak, Rudraksh, mahogany, birch and Spanish cherry. Another, Dolphin's Nose is one of the striking viewpoints formed with huge rocks offering you a wonderful view of Catherine falls. The sharp peak of the rock would remind you of a Dolphin's Nose and hence, it is named after. The awe-inspiring views of setting sun and scenic surrounding of lush tea farms might leave you fascinated. Do not forget to click pictures as it is a lifetime opportunity.

One of the most popular attractions of Coonoor is toy train, which presents you a closer look of this enchanting location. The Nilgiri Mountain Railway or toy train is one of the most thrilling adventures and perfect ways to adore the beautiful Ooty. The route between Ooty and Coonoor, feels even better when you experience the ride.

Return back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Today, check-out from the hotel and leave for Kodaikanal.

Referred as the 'Princess of hill stations', Kodaikanal is one of the most travelled honeymoon destinations in Tamil Nadu. From notable viewpoints to pristine lakes, Kodaikanal houses numerous attractions. The lush greenery and the salubrious weather makes every traveler enjoy like never before. Some of the major attractions of Kodaikanal you may visit are famous Pine forests (a perfect place for photo fanatics) and Green valley view point (the fantastic view of the valleys from the top might leave you awestruck).

Upon reaching Kodaikanal, check-in at a booked hotel and loosen up. Rest of the day is free for you, either relax or stroll around at nearby markets of the place. Some of the best buys of Kodaikanal include carved handicrafts, natural oils, aromatic, dried flowers, Kodai cheese and marshmallows.

On fifth day of your Romance of Hills in South India tour, explore important tourist spots in Kodaikanal. Begin with Pillar Rock, one of the revered tourist spots in Kodaikanal. Pillar rock is a set three huge rock pillars, making it an amazing viewpoint; Coaker's walk- a great walkway with striking views of the valley; and Bear Shola waterfalls- enjoy water cascading down from a certain height relaxing all your senses. The best time to be at this place is during monsoons when the greenery of the place sprouts entirely.

Thereafter in the afternoon, visit Bryant Park, a wonderland for plant lovers. Acquiring an area up to 20.5 acres, the park boasts of 325 species of trees, cactuses and shrubs. The star attraction of the park is a 157 year Eucalyptus tree. Spend some good time with your beloved and click some pictures, to cherish for lifetime.

Then you head to Kodai Lake for a joyful boat ride (on direct payment basis). With a unique aspect of star-like shape, Kodai Lake is completely surrounded by velvet green meadows making it a great picnic spot.

Return back to the hotel for overnight stay in the hotel.

Today, check-out from the hotel and straight away travel to Madurai. Further, proceed to Madurai airport/ railway station for your onward destination.
