Kedarnath is a town in the Indian state of Uttarakhand and renowned for being the most sacred Hindu destination among all the Jyotirlingas. Kedarnath Dham is one of the most revered Dham among the Char Dhams. This 1-day itinerary covers Panch Kedar Darshan by Helicopter, where devotees seek blessings at the Kedarnath along with the four other sacred sites of Lord Shiva. Panch Kedar refers to five Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva including Kedarnath. The other four named Madhyamaheshwar, Tungnath, Rudranath, and Kalpeshwar hold a major religious significance. Kedarnath is the first Kedar and one of the Dwadashi/Twelve Jyotirlingas, while the second Kedar is dedicated to Lord Madhyamaheshwar. Lord Tungnath is worshipped as the third Kedar. Your holy tour starts from Sirsi, a small village situated at an altitude of about 6500 feet above sea level in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Report early morning at Sirsi Helipad to start your Panch Kedar Darshan 1 day tour.
After arriving at the Helipad, complete the security check formalities and aboard the helicopter for the first VIP darshan at Kedarnath. Once you land, you will be accompanied to the Kedarnath temple - the abode to one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Seek Lord Shiva’s blessings and get your holy Prashad.
Later, aboard the chopper from Kedarnath Helipad that will take you to Sirsi Helipad in almost 7-8 minutes. Now, board the chopper again and enjoy another ride of about 30 minutes to the remaining four Kedar Shrines. Once Panch Kedar Darshan completes, arrive at Sirsi Helipad in the evening. From here, you will set on to your journey back home.
