Itinerary - Manali Volvo Tour Ex Delhi

Day 1 - Delhi - Manali (531 km/ 12 hrs approx.)

Your Delhi to Manali Volvo tour begins once you reach the allotted bus stand. Kindly reach the bus stand on time and board the AC Volvo Bus that will transport you to your dream destination. This is an overnight journey, and you will be reaching Manali in the morning.

Day 2 - Arrival in Manali

Once you reach Manali, you will be transferred to the resort by cab. Complete the check-in formalities and freshen up. The rest of the day is free to explore the surroundings on your own. Stroll around the place and inhale the fresh mountain air.

Manali is a beautiful resort town nestled in the lap of the majestic Himalayas, offering picturesque views of the Pir Panjal and the Dhauladhar Range. With gushing streams, lush forests, and sprawling countryside, Manali is no less than a wonderland. Hence, planning a Manali trip is the best way to satisfy your wanderlust.

Day 3 - Manali – Rohtang Pass – Solang Valley – Manali

The third day of your Volvo bus tour package from Delhi starts with a visit to Rohtang Pass (by Taxi Union Car on direct payment). It is perched at a height of 3978 meters, around 50 km from Manali. Rohtang Pass is a paradise for adventure seekers, as skiing, paragliding, and ice skating are available here.

On the way, go sightseeing in Solang Valley, where our car will be waiting to pick you up. From impressive visuals to adventure sports, this place has it all. The plethora of adventure activities like paragliding attracts thrill-seekers and the scenic landscapes draw nature admirers. The sheer beauty of this place is therapeutic.

Note: Rohtang Pass is closed every Tuesday, and sightseeing is possible, subject to the weather conditions. Also, due to the presence of the Taxi Union, the trip to Rohtang Pass is not included in the Delhi to Manali tour package. It has to be paid directly by the guests to the Taxi Union, including the permit fee.

Day 4 - Manali – Kullu – Manikaran – Manali

After a hearty breakfast, get ready for a sightseeing trip around Kullu, a quaint resort town offering spectacular Himalayan landscape, around 30 km from Manali. Your Kullu Manali package by bus includes visiting the famous Vaishno Devi Temple, built in honor of Devi Parvati. You can also take part in river rafting in Kullu.

Vaishno Devi Temple, also known as Mahadevi Tirth, is not only a religious site but also a major tourist attraction on the bank of River Beas. It was built in 1966 to honor Devi Parvati, the wife of Lord Shiva.

The tour continues to the popular pilgrimage center of Manikaran, known for its hot water springs. These springs have healing power, and people from all over the globe come here to take a dip and cure their diseases. It is a sacred destination for the Sikhs as well as the Hindus. Besides hot water springs, there are a number of religious landmarks located here.

Visit the sacred temple dedicated to the legendary hero Ramachandra. It was built in the 17th century by Raja Jagat Singh and has idols of Lord Ram and Devi Sita. Next, visit Gurudwara Shri Narayan Hari, one of the most popular religious landmarks in Manikaran. This gurudwara takes pride in accommodating 4000 pilgrims in a day with the additional langar service.

After the tour, you will be transferred back to the hotel in Manali.

Day 5 - Manali (Sightseeing & Departure)

On the fifth day of your 5 nights 6 days Manali Volvo package, have breakfast and later check out. Today, the day is scheduled for a half-day tour of Manali.

First, visit the famous 450 years old Hidimba Devi Temple. Locally known as Dhungari Temple, this ancient cave temple is dedicated to the wife of Bhima, Hidimba Devi. Maharaja Bahadur Singh built this sacred structure in 1553, and today, the auspicious occasion of Navaratri is celebrated with zeal and draws devotees from all around Manali.

Afterward, you can go on a shopping spree and explore the vibrant markets for the famous Himachali shawls and souvenirs for your loved ones. In the evening, proceed to the bus stand and board the AC Volvo that will take you back to Delhi.
