Itinerary - Manali to Srinagar Bike Trip

Day 1 - Manali: Arrival and briefing program

Your road trip will start with your arrival in Manali. On arrival, you will have an assisted transfer to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Later, you can visit the Manali local market and shop the gears if you require. At 4:30 PM, our team will start the briefing program and also issue the bikes to the riders. You can test the bike and ride to the nearby locations. Have a delicious dinner and doze off into your cozy bed.

Day 2 - Sarchu: A bike trip via Atal Tunnel

Welcome the day with a hearty breakfast and check out from the hotel. Start your Himalayan expedition at 7:30 AM and head towards Jispa via Atal Tunnel. It is the world’s longest highway tunnel. Enjoy the enchanting view of the mighty Himalayas. En route, you will cross Baralacha Pass situated at 4,890 m above sea level, which is one of the highest mountain passes in the world.

On arrival in Sarchu, complete the check-in formalities in the camp. Savor the delicious dinner while gazing at the millions of stars and then slip into your bed for a restful sleep.

Manali to Sarchu Distance: 177 km.

Day 3 - Tsomoriri Lake: Road trip via Tso Kar Lake

Wake up to a beautiful morning and enjoy the scrumptious breakfast. Later, start your ride to Tso Moriri via Tso Kar, which is a popular salt lake located in Rupshu Plateau. Enjoy the scenic vistas of this beautiful lake and then head towards Tso Moriri. On arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the camp and rest for a while. Situated at 4,552 m above sea level, Tso Moriri is also called Mountain Lake situated in Changthang Plateau. It is one of the largest high altitude freshwater lakes.

Later in the evening, enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the lake. You can even spot several species of birds and wildlife nearby the lake. Spend your evening watching the beautiful sunset and mesmerized by the stunning look of the lake.

Sarchu to Tso Moriri Distance: 228 km

Day 4 - Hanle: Explore the beautiful landscape via Nurpa Pass

Start your day with a scrumptious breakfast and complete the check-out formalities. Later, head towards Hanle. En route, you will cross Mahe Bridge and Nurpa Pass. Hanle is home to Indian Astronomical Observatory, the second-highest optical observatory in the world. Situated at a staggering altitude of 4,500 m above sea level, Hanle is located near the Actual Line of Control. On arrival in Hanle, complete the check-in formalities at the accommodation and unwind. Later, you can explore the nearby places and delight in the majestic beauty of this Trans-Himalayan region. You can also spend some time with locals.

Tso Moriri to Hanle Distance: 159 km

Day 5 - Pangong Lake: Arrival via Tsaga La Pass

Greet the beautiful day with a toothsome breakfast, check out from the hotel, and head towards Pangong Lake via Chushul and Tsaga La Pass. Delight in the scenic vistas during the road trip. On arrival at Pangong Lake, complete the check-in formalities at the accommodation, and relax for a while. Pangong Lake is one of the highest saltwater lakes and is completely landlocked. The lake is 134 km in length and 40% of the lake is situated in India while the rest is in China.

Hanle to Pangong Lake Distance: 311 km

Day 6 - Nubra Valley: Bike trip via Shyok Valley

Start your day with a tasty breakfast, complete the check-out formalities, and head towards Nubra Valley. You will be passing through Shyok Valley, which boasts a panoramic view. On arrival in Nubra Valley, complete the check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the day is at your leisure. You can visit the Diskit Monastery, which houses the tallest statue of Buddha in Ladakh. From the top of the monastery, you get glimpses of breathtaking views of the valley. Day 7 - Leh: Arrival via Khardung La Pass

Later proceed for Leh and en route, you will stop at Khardung La Pass, which is situated at 5,359 m above sea level. It is one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Nubra Valley to Leh Distance: 125 km

Travel Time: 3 hours, 25 minutes (approx.)

Day 8 - Leh: A day for sightseeing

This day is for leisure activities. You can enjoy the day as per your wish. After having breakfast, you can explore the city. The bike will be sent for maintenance and repair for half day. You can visit Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and market on your own. You can also buy some souvenirs for you and your loved ones.

Afterward, head to your hotel and enjoy a delicious night's meal before overnight sleep.

Day 9 - Kargil: Reach Kargil via Alchi

Arise to a savory morning meal, check out from the hotel, and set out for a road trip to Kargil. En route, you will visit Alchi Monastery and drive past Magnetic Hill, Military Hall of Fame, and the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River. You will also cross Fotu La, which is one of the two mountain passes on the Leh-Srinagar highway.

Day 10 - Sonamarg: A bike ride to Sonamarg via Zoji La pass
