Pay a visit to these major highlights of the fort are Kirti Stambh- it is positioned inside the Chittorgarh Fort and is considered a major Jain pilgrimage by many Jainism followers. It is also known as the town of the fame which is celebrated for its elaborate carvings of the Digambar sect, this seven-story giant tower has an amazing effigy of Sri Adinatha. Vijay Stambha- is also known as the victory tower and was constructed by Rana Kumbha, the king of Mewar. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu with beautiful carvings and also has many other sculptures of Hindu Gods and Goddesses. It is an excellent example of religious pluralism practised by the Rajputs. Rana Kumbha Stambha- is where Rana Kumbha survived and spent his royal life. Its appealing and artistic architecture makes a must-visit place for tourists while exploring Chittorgarh. Next, pay a visit to Fateh Prakash Palace- this palace takes Rajput splendour to a new level. The construction is superb and the outline is fantastic. Gaumukh Reservoir- it is shaped like the mouth of a cow. The water which gathers in the reservoir flows through a crack in the rock. It is situated on the western side of the Chittorgarh Fort and is one of the most visited places inside the fort. Also well-known as the Water Fort because nearby forty per cent of the fort is enclosed by water bodies in the form of ponds and Padmini's Palace- is the palace where Rani Padmini lived after she wedded Rawal Ratan Singh, the ruler of Mewar Domain. The palace where the Rajput women sacrificed their lives when the palace was a triumph by Alauddin Khilji. It marks their loyalty and strength to fight and die instead of facing dishonour. After having your breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Ranthambore National Park. It takes five hours twenty minutes to cover this distance. On reaching, check in to the hotel room and relax for a while.
