Itinerary - Gujarat Rajasthan Tour

Day 1 - Arrival at Mumbai

On arrival at Mumbai, meet our representatives who'll escort you to one of our listed hotels. Check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax for sometime in your room at the hotel. Later in the evening take a leisurely walk to explore the market and places around. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2 - Mumbai

In the morning after breakfast, proceed towards Elephanta caves for a sightseeing tour. These caves are located on an island that is a few miles away from the Gateway of India. These caves can be reached by ferry from the Gateway. This rock-cut cave temple is dedicated to lord Shiva. The Elephanta caves comprise of seven caves of which Mahesh Murti cave is of great importance. In this cave Lord Shiva is shown as a creator, protector and destroyer, is a sight to be seen. Later in the day move out on an excursion to the sightseeing of Mumbai. The major hotspots to visit include Prince of Wales Museum, Hanging Gardens, Juhu Beach and Marine Drive. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Day 3 - Mumbai - Bhavnagar

Next morning after breakfast, transfer to Mumbai domestic airport to catch a flight to Bhavnagar. After arrival at Bhavnagar, our representative would arrange a smooth transfer to one of the city hotels. Spend some time resting in your room. In the afternoon set off for sightseeing of Bhavnagar. The major tourist hotspots include the Takhteshwar Temple and the Gandhi Smriti Memorial. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4 - Bhavnagar - Palitana

After breakfast drive towards Palitana – one of the most sacred sites of Jainism. This place is scattered with a lot of temples in the Shatrunjaya hill. This hill consists of a total of 1300 temples featuring exquisite sculpture and carving. Upon reaching Palitana, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon proceed to climb the 600-meter Shatrunjaya hill on foot to enjoy the temple excursion. Return to the hotel in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 5 - Palitana – Ahmedabad

Post breakfast leave for Ahmedabad by road. On reaching Ahmedabad, check-in at your hotel. After lunch move out on a sightseeing tour of Ahmedabad to visit the Calico Museum Of Textile. This is one of India's finest specialized museums. Moving head during the day, visit the other major tourist attractions like the Gandhi Ashram, Sidi Sayed Mosque, Bhadra Fort and the Kankaria Lake. Enjoy dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 - Ahmedabad – Modhera – Patan – Mount Abu

Next morning post breakfast, drive towards Mount Abu via Modhera and Patan. On the route visit the Sun temple at Modhera. The temple is located on the high mound on the left bank of river Pushpawati. It is an exemplary model of art and architecture. Moving forward on the drive we will visit some of the major tourist attractions like Agam Kaun, Hanuman Mandir and Patna Museum. Further resume your drive to Mount Abu. On arrival at Mount Abu, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 - Mount Abu – Udaipur

In the morning after breakfast, set out on a sightseeing excursion of Mount Abu. The major tourist hotspots include Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary, Dilwara temples, Doodh Baori and Sun Set Point. In the evening visit Nakki Lake to witness a mesmerizing sunset. In the evening leave for Udaipur. On arriving in Udaipur, check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8 - Udaipur

Post breakfast drive straight to Udaipur-the city of lakes. The place enthralls you with the stunning surroundings which include five beautiful lakes, royal palaces, forts and gardens. On reaching Udaipur check-in at one of the city hotels. Rest and relax for a while before embarking the visit to some of the major tourist attractions like City Palace, Jag Mandir Island, Bagore-Ki Haveli and Sahelion Ki Bari. After the visit return to the hotel for overnight stay in Udaipur.

Day 9 - Udaipur – Rohetgarh

Post breakfast drive to Rohetgarh by road. Stop midway to visit the famous Ranakpur Jain temple. This temple consists of 200 pillars that are intricately designed and are not alike. These pillars are used to provide support to the 29 halls of the temple. After the visit to the temple resume your drive towards Rohetgarh. On arrival at Rohetgarh, check in at the Hotel. Later in the day enjoy a Jeep ride to the Village. Overnight stay in Rohetgarh.

Day 10 - Rohetgarh – Jaisalmer

After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. On arrival check in at Hotel . Overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 11 - Jaisalmer

Next morning wake up early in the morning and drive up to Jaisalmer. Take a sightseeing tour of this medieval city covering Jaisalmer Fort, Jain Temple and Bada Bagh. Later in day move out for an excursion to the Sam Sand Dunes where you will enjoy the camel safari and get entertained by the folk performers dressed in authentic fashion. After the joyful camel safari, return to the hotel for your overnight stay in Jaisalmer.

Day 12 - Jaisalmer – Bikaner

On the 12th day of the trip drive from Jaisalmer to Bikaner. Upon arrival at Bikaner, check in at your hotel. Enjoy the sightseeing tour of Bikaner visiting various tourist destinations like Junagarh Fort, Bikaner Fort, Gajner Lake and Kolayatji Temple. In the latter part of the day, enjoy Thar camel safari for the ultimate experience. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13 - Bikaner – Jaipur

Post breakfast, leave for Jaipur by road. After reaching Jaipur, check-in to hotel. Once you have reached Jaipur, you have the option of venturing out and exploring the sights and sounds of Jaipur. Return to your hotel for dinner and retire for the night.

Day 14 - Jaipur

In the morning after breakfast, ride up to Amber fort on a caparisoned, painted elephant. Later in the afternoon after lunch, head straight to a sightseeing tour of Jaipur covering major tourist attractions like the City Palace, Royal Observatory and the Hawa Mahal, Jal Mahal and the Central Museum. In the evening visit the bazaar in Jaipur for shopping for souvenirs. Stay at your hotel for the night.

Day 15 - Jaipur – Agra

Post breakfast, leave for Agra by road. Stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the ruined city that was commissioned by Emperor Akbar. Also visit places like Jama Masjid, Panch Mahal, Salim Chisti's Tomb, and some of the palaces. After reaching Agra, check-in to hotel. Spend overnight at your hotel.

Day 16 - Agra – Delhi

In the morning after breakfast, proceed to visit the major tourist hotspots of Agra covering Agra Fort and Taj Mahal- Epitome of Love. Taj Mahal was commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. After lunch leave for Delhi by surface. On reaching Delhi, transfer to Delhi airport to catch a flight for onward journey.
