Itinerary - Kedarnath Badrinath Ex Mumbai

Day 1 - Rishikesh: Arrival and sightseeing

The first day of the Badrinath Kedarnath tour package from Mumbai will start by reaching Rishikesh from Mumbai. On your arrival in Rishikesh, our tour representative will greet you and transfer you to the hotel. Complete the check-in formalities and unwind. Later you will be accompanied for a local sightseeing tour. You will visit Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Parmarth Niketan Ashram. In the evening, go to Triveni Ghat and join the grand evening aarti at the Ghat. Witness the grand aarti and pay respect to river Ganga.

Return to the hotel for a relaxing overnight stay. Savor the delicious dinner at your hotel, and doze off into your cozy bed.

Day 2 - Guptkashi: Arrival via Devprayag

Wake up to a beautiful morning, have a toothsome breakfast, and check out from the hotel. You will get an assisted transfer to Guptkashi. En route you will stop at Devprayag, to witness the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River. Spend some quality time amidst the serenity. Later, resume the ride for Guptkashi. On the way, you will cross through Rudraprayag – confluence point of Alaknanda and Mandakini Rivers, and Ukhimath – the winter abode of Lord Kedar.

After having breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Guptkashi. As you reach, get checked-in at the hotel and relax. If time and energy permits then you can take a stroll near the resort. Have a scrumptious dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 - Guptkashi: A day trip to Kedarnath Temple

Greet the beautiful day with a hearty meal. Later, you will get transferred to Gaurikund, which is the base camp for Kedarnath Yatra.

On arrival in Gaurikund, you can take a dip in the hot spring and visit the Gauri Temple, a place where Lord Shiva admitted his love for Goddess Parvati. From Gaurikund, you will start a trek of 16 km to reach the Kedarnath Temple. You can choose to walk or take pony rides to reach this temple.

On arrival at Kedarnath Temple, offer prayers and seek blessings from Lord Shiva. Delve into the divine aura and admire the enchanting view of the valley. Later, descend back to Gaurikund by trek or hire a pony or palanquin.

Head towards your vehicle, which will be waiting for you in the parking. Get transferred to Guptkashi for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Distance from Gaurikund to Kedarnath (trekking): 16 km

Day 4 - Badrinath: Arrival via Joshimath

After having a scrumptious breakfast, check-out from the hotel and get transferred to Badrinath. En route, you will visit some of the popular tourist places like Baniyakund, which is a tiny hamlet from where you can witness the enchanting view of Chandrashila along with the beauty of Joshimath, Govindghat, and Hanuman Chatti.

Upon your arrival in Badrinath, check-in at the hotel and have some rest. Later, head out for Badrinath Temple. Attend Aarti in the temple in the evening and seek blessings of the Lord Badri.

After the darshan, return back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Travel time - 7 hours, 10 minutes (approx.)

Day 5 - Devprayag: Arrival via Karnaprayag and Nandprayag

Wake up early and head to the Badrinath Temple to attend the morning aarti. Later, have breakfast and complete the check-out formalities to start your journey to Devprayag.

On the way, you will visit Joshimath, the winter abode of Lord Badri. From Joshimath, you can witness the mesmerizing view of the snow-capped mountains of Auli. You can also stop at Karnaprayag, the confluence point of Alaknanda and Pindar Rivers, and Nandprayag, the confluence point of Alaknanda and Nandakini Rivers.

On your arrival in Devprayag, head towards the hotel and complete the check-in formalities. In the evening, head towards the confluence point of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River, which forms River Ganga. Delight in the spiritual aura of this pious site.

Day 6 - The tour culminated
