Itinerary - Delightful Uttarakhand Tour

Day 1 - Delhi - Rishikesh (270 km/ 5.5 hrs approx.)

UUpon your arrival in Delhi, meet our tour representative, who will help you with an assisted transfer to Rishikesh, known for adventure and yoga. Moreover, it is the gateway to the holy Chardham destinations - Kedarnath, Gangotri, Badrinath, and Yamunotri.

On arrival, complete check-in formalities. In the evening, leave for sightseeing. Visit Lakshman Jhula (a 450 feet hanging iron Bridge over the mighty Ganges), Bharat Mandir, and Triveni Ghat (famous for evening Ganga aarti). Later, visit Trimbakeshwar Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Rishikesh - Lansdowne (128 km/ 3.5 hrs approx.)

Start the day with breakfast, check out, and start your road journey from Rishikesh to Lansdowne. On your arrival, check in at the hotel. Later, proceed for sightseeing. Visit the War Museum handled by the Indian Army, 'Tip N Top' hill point, and Anglican, St. Mary's Church.

Visit Tiffin Top and Snow View viewpoints for views of Chaukhamba and Trishul Mountain Ranges. End the tour with a visit to Tarkeshwar Mahadev at the height of 2092 m, dedicated to Lord Shiva.

After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Lansdowne - Jim Corbett National Park (195 km/ 4.5 hrs approx.)

Start the day with breakfast at the hotel. Later, proceed for a road journey to the Jim Corbett National Park, home to Royal Bengal Tigers. Along with animal species, the park has 586 species of migratory birds. On reaching, complete check-in at a jungle resort.

Freshen up and relax; the day is at your own leisure. You can choose to explore the nearby area on your own. Pay a visit to the Garjiya Devi temple or opt for an evening Jungle safari.

After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Corbett – Kausani (148 km/ 5 hrs approx.)

On day 4 of your Uttarakhand trip, wake up to the calls of the wild. Have breakfast at the resort and start with a drive to Kausani. Also known as the 'Switzerland of India', Kausani is loved by nature lovers and peace seekers.

Upon arriving, complete the check-in at the hotel and rest. Later, get ready for sightseeing in Kausani. Visit Kausani Tea Estate to see the tea varieties grown here. You can even buy some. Next, proceed to Sumitranandan Pant Gallery, dedicated to the popular literary figures of modern Hindi literature.

Then, move on to Anasakti Ashram, also known as Gandhi Ashram, 70-year old Lakshmi Ashram, Rudradhari Falls and Caves.

After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Kausani – Binsar (62 km/ 2.5 hrs approx.)

Post breakfast, check out and transfer to Binsar. Upon arrival, complete the check-in formalities at the resort. The highlight of this delightful Uttarakhand tour is the Binsar wildlife sanctuary. It is the habitat of animals, birds, and ancient trees. Return to the resort for lunch. Later, choose to either relax in the room or explore the place on foot, on your own.

Day 6 - Binsar - Nainital (87 km/ 3.5 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, drive to Nainital, known as the ‘City of Lakes'. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Then, proceed for sightseeing, starting from Naina Devi Temple on the northern banks of Naini Lake. Next, pay a visit to the church of St. John in the Wilderness.

After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7 - Nainital (Sightseeing Tour)

Day 7 is dedicated to Nainital sightseeing. First, visit the tear-shaped Naini Lake. Next, explore the Governor's House, also known as Raj Bhavan, a masterpiece of Victorian Gothic architecture built in 1899. Next, visit the Snow View by a scenic cable car ride to enjoy the city views. Head towards The Mall Road on the lake banks, known as Govind Ballabh Pant Marg, where markets and cafes offer exciting treasures.

Day 8 - Departure from Nainital - Delhi (312 km/ 7 hrs approx.)
