Itinerary - Amarnath Yatra Ex Delhi

Day 1 - Delhi: The Tour Begins

On arrival in Delhi, meet and greet our tour representative and get an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. On arrival, complete your check-in formalities and unwind. After getting renewed, set out and explore the local markets of Delhi to shop for souvenirs. If you wish you can also roam around the city and enjoy the lip-smacking street food. Once done exploring, return to the hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 2 - Delhi: Enjoy a Full Day Sightseeing

Arise to a nutritious breakfast and get ready for the unparalleled sightseeing experience. Today you will be visiting the major attractions in Delhi such as Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Humanyun Tomb, Qutub Minar, and Birla Mandir. Enjoy a private vehicle drive and witness the beauty of India Gate, President’s House, and Connaught Place en route. After enjoying the day at leisure, return to the hotel for a sound sleep.

Day 3 - Srinagar: Welcome to the Scenic Capital of Jammu and Kashmir

On landing at Srinagar get an assisted transfer to your houseboat. Complete the check-in formalities and relax. The rest of the time is free at leisure. Day 4 - Srinagar: A day at Leisure

‘Break’ your night-long ‘fast’ at the hotel and get ready to enjoy sightseeing in Srinagar. Today your first visit will be at the world-renowned Mughal Gardens, Srinagar. Visit Shalimar Bagh to explore the stunning garden, which is also known as the abode of love, also visit Nishat Bagh, the garden of pleasure. Later, return to your houseboat for a delightful lunch. Post-lunch relax for a while. Later in the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on The Dal Lake and delight in the spectacular views of the surrounding. You can also visit the floating gardens and markets during the ride. After an enjoyable day, return to the houseboat for a refreshing sleep.

Day 5 - Pahalgam: Visit One of the Best Hill Stations

Greet the early morning sun and enjoy your delicious breakfast. Later checkout from the houseboat and head towards Pahalgam, which is a renowned hill station of Jammu and Kashmir and a treasure of the picturesque Liddar valley. Pahalgam is located at an altitude of about 2440 meters above sea level in the higher Himalayan range and is best known for its activities like hiking, trekking, and fishing. It is also the starting point of the annual journey to the holy cave of Amarnath. En route cross, the Saffron fields, the ruins of Avantipur, and the ancient Matan Temple, which is dedicated to Sun God. Upon your arrival at Pahalgam, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. The rest of the time is free at leisure, you can admire the beauty of nature or have a nature walk. Day 6 - Sheshnag: Enjoy Trekking to Reach Destination

Chandanwari is also the culminating point of the Amarnath Yatra. On arrival, begin an uphill trek to Sheshnag. After a sharp uphill trek, you will reach Pishoo Ghati Pass, which is located at an altitude of about 13000 feet above sea level. On arrival, head towards your tent and unwind. The rest of the time is free at leisure. You can set out and admire the scenic views around. Get over the journey fatigue with a refreshing sleep.

Day 7 - Panchtarni: Soka in Tranquility

The next morning, have a toothsome breakfast and leave the tent to reach the next stop. Today you will be going to start an early morning sharp uphill trek to reach Mahagunas top, which is located at an altitude of about 3377 meters above sea level. After reaching Mahagunas top, your trek will get a little easier as the downhill will take you to your next stop, which is Panchtarni. It is a famous pilgrimage and tourist destination on the way to Amarnath Caves, it is located at an altitude of about 3657 meters above sea level. On arrival, set yourself comfortable in the tents. Admire the landscape around and soak in a delightful natural ambiance. Later in the night, when stars pop-up, surrender yourself to the world of dreams.

Day 7 - Baltal: A Day Reserved for the Holy Darshan
