Itinerary - Chardham Yatra Ex Ahmedabad

Day 1 - Haridwar: The Holy Tour Begins

Your holy tour begins in Delhi. After reaching Delhi, meet our representative and get an assisted transfer to Haridwar, on arrival complete the check-in formalities at the hotel, and relax. Get over the journey fatigue with a sound sleep.

Distance from Delhi to Haridwar: 220 km (approx.)

Travel time: 6 hours (approx.)

Day 2 - Barkot: Drive from Haridwar

On the second day, early morning, you will be driven to Barkot, it is a scenic hill station located at the foot of Yamunotri. En-route you can visit the famous Kempty Falls. After reaching Barkot, check-in to your hotel, enjoy meals, and relax. In the late afternoon, have your ceremonial meal and wipe the journey fatigue. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3 - Barkot: Trek to Yamunotri

Kickstart your day with a hearty breakfast and proceed towards Yamunotri Dham. From Janki Chatti, you will begin the first Pahad Char Dham Yatra of Yamunotri, which is almost a 6 km long trek. In Yamunotri, there is a Hot Water Kund, where people cook rice. The cooked rice is considered the holy prasad. Later you can offer pooja at the Divya Shilla. Before visiting the temple, take a holy dip at the Jamuna Bhai kund and enjoy the darshan of Yamunaji. Post darshan back to the hotel and relax.

Distance from Barkot to Janki Chatti: 45 km (approx.)

Travel time: 2 hours (approx.)

Trek Distance from Janki Chatti to Yamunotri: 5 km (approx.)

Optional: You can hire palki, ponies, or a horse to trek the temple instead of trekking (charges extra).

Day 4 - Uttarkashi: A Day at Leisure

The next morning after having a toothsome breakfast checkout from the hotel. Today, you will be transferred to Uttarkashi. The town is located on the banks of the river Bhagirathi and renowned for its temples, ashrams, and picturesque beauty. After reaching, check-in into the hotel and unwind. Later in the evening visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Later, hop onto your cozy bed for a restful sleep.

Travel time: 3 hours (approx.)

Day 5 - Uttarkashi: Seek Blessing at Gangotri Dham

Greet the early morning sun and get ready to catch your next destination, which is Gangotri Dham. It is a major Hindu pilgrim town, located on the banks of the river Bhagirathi. After reaching Gangotri take a holy dip in the pious river the Ganges and then pay a visit to the Gangotri Temple. The temple is 18th century old and dedicated to Goddess Ganga. After the holy darshan and pooja drive back to Uttarkashi. Savor a delicious dinner and enjoy a restful sleep.

Day 6 - Sitapur: A Drive from Uttarkashi

The next morning checkout from the hotel. Today, you will be transferred to Sitapur. After reaching, you will be transferred to your respective hotel. Get over the journey fatigue with a refreshing sleep at the hotel.

Day 7 - Sitapur: Trek to Kedarnath via Gaurikund

Break your night long fast at the hotel and head towards Gaurikund, which is the central base from where the trekking begins for the Kedarnath shrine. Treat your eyes during the trek by enjoying the beautiful views around. After reaching, enjoy the holy darshan and get back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Trek Distance from Gaurikund to Kedarnath: 16 km (approx.)

Day 8 - Sitapur: A Day at Leisure

Greet the early morning sun and enjoy your delicious breakfast. Today you have one complete day free at leisure in Sitapur. Simply relax at the hotel or wander around the nearby areas. If you wish you can visit the Trijugi Narayan temple, which is an ancient Hindu temple located in the Triyuginarayan village in Rudraprayag district, Uttarakhand, and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9 - Badrinath: Seek Blessings at the Shrine

The next morning savor some toothsome breakfast and checkout from the hotel. Today, you will be transferred to Badrinath via Joshimath. En route, you can visit Joshimath, Narasimha Temple, and Shankaracharya Math. After reaching Badrinath complete your check-in formalities and relax. Later in the evening, visit the Badrinath shrine and enjoy the holy darshan. Badrinath is one of the pre-eminent pilgrimage places among Hindus, the temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Badrinath Temple is a beauty to behold, the temple has a height of around 15 meters and the main deity inside the temple is Lord Vishnu. Post darshan back to the hotel and relax.

Day 10 - Srinagar: Return with Blessings

Greet the early morning sun and enjoy your delicious breakfast. Today you will get an assisted transfer to Srinagar. En route, you can visit Vishnuprayag, Karnprayag, Nandprayag, Rudraprayag, and Devprayag. After reaching Srinagar, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Get over the journey fatigue with some refreshment and sound sleep.

Day 11 - Haridwar: Welcome to the Gateway to Gods

Greet the early morning sun, enjoy your delicious breakfast check out from the hotel, and head towards Haridwar. The town is considered a sacred site for Hindus, as it hosts an important religious event and offers a gateway to many pre-eminent places of worship. The most important of the events is the Kumbh Mela, which is celebrated every 12 years in Haridwar. En route, you can also visit Rishikesh and Devprayag, the town other religious town located on the foothills of the Himalayas. After reaching Haridwar you will be transferred to your respective hotel, on arrival at the hotel complete the check-in formalities, and relax. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12 - Haridwar: The Tour Concludes

Wake up to an appetizing breakfast and complete your checkout formalities. As your Chardham Yatra from Ahmedabad concludes, you will be transferred to Delhi. After reaching Delhi, you will have an assisted transfer to the Railway Station / Airport for your journey back home.
