Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Bangalore - Bangalore Local Sightseeing

Upon your arrival in Bangalore, our tour representative will pick you up and you will have assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. Take some rest and after fresh up, you will proceed for the sightseeing tour of Mysore Ooty Coonoor package tour from Bangalore.

The first stopover of the day will be Lalbagh which is a popular botanical garden and is being thrived by the locals during the evening hours. Spread over a sprawling area of 270 acres of land, this botanical garden is a heaven for nature lovers. The garden comprises a rare species of French, Persian, and Af-ghani plants. It is a delight for photographers, enjoy the time here amidst nature and lush greenery. After this head towards the Bull Temple which is the oldest temple in Bangalore. The temple is also known as Nandi Temple and the biggest temple of Nandi in the world. It is believed that River Vrishabhavati is at the feet of the Nandi who holds special importance to Lord Shiva. It is one of the most popular attractions in Bangalore and is popularly known as ‘Taj Mahal of South India’. Glare at the majestic beauty of this magnificent structure on the way to the Vishveshwarya Technological Museum which is a science museum. It spreads over a sprawling area of the 4000-metre square and comprises several exhibition galleries. After glaring at the exquisite collection of the museum, you head towards the Art Gallery where you will get an opportunity to admire a range of artworks, paintings, and connoisseurs.

Day 2 - Bangalore to Mysore

On the 2nd day of the Bangalore Mysore Ooty travel package, you will check out from the hotel after having breakfast and head towards Mysore. On the way to Mysore, you will visit the Srirangapatna which is an island snuggled amidst the Cauvery River and situated 18 km from Mysore. This place is an architectural marvel and a perfect blend of Hoysala and Vijayanagar architectural style. This temple boasts of rich history and cultural heritage. This temple is one of the important Vaishnavite pilgrimage places. Srirangapatna is dotted with the immense scenic beauty owning to spectacular waterfalls. Day 3 - Mysore

On the 3rd day of the tour, after having a breakfast you will embark on the Mysore Local Sightseeing. The first stopover of the day will be Maharaja’s Mysore Palace which was the seat of the Kingdom of Mysore. Snuggled in the centre of Mysore and faces the Chamundi Hill, the Mysore Palace was the official residence of Wadiyar Dynasty. Explore the exquisite architecture of the palace and delve into the enchanting beauty of this beautiful edifice. After this, you will visit the Chamundi Hills which is perched at an altitude of 3,300 feet above the sea level. Here you will visit the Chamundeshwari Temple which is set atop the hill. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Chamundi and within the sanctum, there is a sculpted depiction of the goddess. From the top of the hill, you will be able to witness the sheer beauty of the Mysore Palace, Karanji Lake and the bird’s eye view of the Mysore.

Saint Philomena's Church will be the next place of the sightseeing tour. It is one of the majestic churches in India and this catholic church was constructed in 1936. The last stopover of the day will be Jagan Mohan Palace which is an Art Gallery. This palace was an al-ternate retreat for the royal family. This three-story palace is built in the Hindu architectural style. The art gallery houses more than 2,000 murals and paintings and this palace exhibits weapons of war, musi-cal instruments, sculptures, unique artefacts, and many more things which belonged to the bygone era.

Day 4 - Mysore to Ooty

After morning breakfast on the 4th day of the tour, you will check out from the hotel and proceed to Ooty. En-route Ooty you will visit the Bandipur National Forest & Madumali Forest which comprises a wide range of beautiful wildlife and a multitude of teak and sandalwood trees. Here you will be able to spot the hornbills, elephant, python, sloth bears, etc. The national park was once served as a hunting ground and then converted into the national park. Day 5 - Ooty - Coonoor - Ooty

On the 5th day of the tour will head towards Coonoor after having a delicious breakfast. During the Coonoor sightseeing tour, you will visit the Sim's Park, Lamb's Rock, Dolphin Nose and Ketti Valley. Sim’s Park is a treasure trove of some of the exquisite species of plant in the world.
