Itinerary - Amarnath Yatra Via Baltal Route

Day 1 - Arrival and Transfer to Sonmarg/Baltal

Welcome to the paradise on Earth, Srinagar. You will be meeting our tour representative outside the airport/bus stand. You will be safely transported to the Sonmarg/Baltal by road. Songmarg is a picturesque hill station in Kashmir where you will enjoy the breathtaking scenery and the fresh air. Literally translates "Meadows of Gold," Sonmarg has pine trees, green patches on mountains, and hoards of adventure sports to try. Do not forget to bring your camera to take photographs of the beautiful spectacles around.

Optional: You can choose to stay in Baltal, a camping ground for pilgrimage, and a favorite halt duringAmarnath Cave Yatra. Baltal has some well-arranged tents and camps for the pilgrims.

Once you get transported to a hotel/luxury tent in Sonmarg/Balta, complete check-in formalities and enjoy your overnight stay after dinner.

Day 2 - Baltal - A Day For Amarnath Cave

Today, you will be waking up early with a delicious breakfast because your 2nd day is reserved for Darshan of Holy Cave Amarnath. We will transfer you to the Amarnath Shrine via Baltal, from where your journey to spirituality will start. Baltal will be your base point where the trek to Amarnath Cave will start. Apart from trekking, pony rides, pithoos, or palki, are available as an easy option to reach the holy cave. After you complete the darshan at the sacred cave, get back to your base camp in Baltal or hotel in Sonmarg for an overnight stay and delicious dinner.

Day 3 - Srinagar: Beauty in Abundance

Wake up early to a healthy breakfast as you will be proceeding to Srinagar today from Baltal. It is suggested to enjoy the scenic landscape, ensuring Srinagar and gaze at the picturesque panoramas. When you reach Srinagar, your houseboat/hotel stay is reserved for you! Make sure you perform your check-in formalities. You can enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace and leisure. If you wish you can also enjoy the Shikara Ride on the shimmering Dal Lake.. Once dusk strikes, return to your houseboat or hotel in Srinagar for an overnight stay with a delectable dinner.

Day 4 - Srinagar: Enjoy Sightseeing

After having a well-earned lunch on your 4th day, gear yourself for the day sightseeing of Srinagar city.he beauty of Srinagar is so breathtaking that tourists sometimes confuse it with some Western world destination. Srinagar is often known as the land of gardens and lake where traditional houseboat sails, and Mughal influence is seen in lush green gardens. Tour the UNESCO Heritage Mughal Garden, gaze at Zabarwan Mountains' views from Nishant Bagh and witness the horticultural charm at Shalimar Bagh. If time permits, you can also visit some other attractions in the outskirts of Srinagar.

 

After an amazing day, return to the houseboat or hotel in Srinagar for a sound sleep.

Day 5 - Srinagar Airport - Trip Ends

Wake up to an appetizing breakfast and complete your checkout formalities. After that you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport/bus stand. Here your Amarnath Yatra from Baltal by road concludes, but the windswept beauty of Srinagar will live long in your memories.
