Itinerary - 7 Days Journey to Ladakh

Day 1 - Leh: Arrive and Acclimatize Yourself

Once you reach Kushok Bakula Airport, meet and greet our tour representative, and get an assisted transfer to the pre-booked hotel. After reaching the hotel, complete your check-in formalities and unwind. The rest of the time is free at leisure. During the daytime, acclimatize yourself to the altitude and weather changes. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 2 - Leh: Enjoy Sightseeing

‘Break’ your night-long ‘fast’ at the hotel and get ready to enjoy sightseeing in the west of Leh. Today you are going to visit Alchi Monastery. En route, you will pass Magnetic Hill and also witness the beautiful confluence of Indus and Zanskar River at Nimu. After reaching Alchi Monastery, get soaked in the peaceful atmosphere. The monastery is famous as the oldest Buddhist learning center in Ladakh. The foundation stone of Alchi Monastery was laid sometime back in 990 A.D. Explore the monastery and also admire the miniature paintings of Alchi Monastery. Once done, head towards Leh, en route, visit the Military Hall of Fame. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 3 - Nubra Valley: A Day Reserved for Sightseeing

Wake up early in the morning, and get refreshed. Today, you are going to enjoy a road trip to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass, which is situated at a height of 18360 ft and is considered one of the highest motorable passes in the world. Take a halt at Khardung La for the photo session, and continue your drive towards Nubra. In the afternoon, explore Hunder, Diskit Monasteries, and also enjoy the camel safari at the white dunes. The safari tour is done with double humped camels that are found only in Nubra Valley. Once done, head towards the deluxe camp/hotel, after reaching complete the check-in formalities and relax. If you wish you can take a quick stroll around the hotel. Once done, get back to the deluxe camp/hotel. Enjoy your delicious dinner and get over the journey fatigue with a sound sleep.

Day 4 - Leh: Enjoy Sightseeing and Shopping

On the 4th day of your journey to Ladakh, wake up early in the morning, get refreshed, and complete the checkout formalities. Today you are going back to Leh. Enjoy a visit to the Samstanling Monastery in the morning, and head towards Leh via Khardungla Pass. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. Later in the evening, you are free to explore the local markets in Leh. You can shop for items such as Pashmina shawls, Chinese cutleries, good pearls, and Ladakhi woolen handicrafts. After shopping, get back to the hotel to enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 5 - Pangong Lake: Enjoy Sightseeing

On day 5th, wake up early in the morning, enjoy your delicious breakfast, and complete the checkout formalities. Proceed towards Pangong Lake via ChangLa pass. Continue your drive through Durbuk and Tangtse village, which is situated in the Changthang region of Ladakh. Treat your eyes during the drive-by enjoying the stunning views around. After reaching your destination, visit Pangong Lake, one of the highest saltwater lakes in India with a stretch of 134 km. 40% of the lake lies in India while the rest is in China. Also, take a tour of the local village. After spending a peaceful time near the lake and exploring the local village, get back to the tented camp to enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 6 - Leh: Way back to Leh after Photo Session

Today morning, you will be saying goodbye to Pangong Tso, before you head towards your next destination, you can enjoy a photo session around the lake. Enjoy your breakfast drive back to Leh. If you wish you can opt for an optional tour of Hemis Monastery, which is 5 kilometers away from Leh near Kharu. Hemis is the largest and richest monastery complex in Ladakh. After reaching Leh by noon, complete your check-in formalities at the hotel and relax. You can also enjoy shopping at the local markets. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6 - Leh: The Tour Concludes

Here is the delightful culmination of your Ladakh Tour. Complete your check-out formalities at the hotel and get an assisted transfer to the Kushok Bakula airport for your journey back home.
