Itinerary - Ecstatic Kashmir Tour

Day 1 - Arrival in Srinagar

On your arrival in Srinagar, our tour representative will meet you at the Srinagar Airport and pick you up for your onward journey. You will have an assisted transfer to the houseboat. Complete the check-in formalities at the houseboat and relax for a while. Enjoy the welcome drink and then embark on the sightseeing tour of Srinagar. Firstly, visit the Mughal Gardens that are well-maintained gardens, built by Mughal rulers in Persian rulers. Explore them and enjoy the enchanting beauty of the mighty Himalayas in the backdrop of these gardens. There are three popular gardens namely Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashmi-e-Shahi. Then head towards Tulip Garden, which is also known as Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia and is nestled in the foothills of Zabarwan Range overlooking the Dal Lake.

In the evening, you will go for a Shikara ride to the famous Dal Lake. Explore the breathtaking beauty of Dal Lake as the Shikara will take you across the length and breadth of the lake. There is a floating market where the locals sell Kashmiri specialties on the Shikara including dry fruits, Pashmina Shawls, ice creams, fruits, and vegetables. After the sightseeing tour, return to your houseboat. Savor a delicious dinner and have a sound sleep in your houseboat.

Day 2 - Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar

On the 2nd day of the Kashmir tour, after having a toothsome breakfast, proceed to visit Gulmarg. Nestled in the foothills of Pir Panjal Range in the Western Himalayas, Gulmarg is popularly known as one of the best skiing destinations in the world. Encompassed by snow-clad mountains and high altitude peaks, this hill town boasts of housing Asia’s highest and longest cable car. This is a two-stage ropeway cable car with which you can visit Kongdoori Mountain, nearby Apharwat Peak, which is located at 4,390 m above sea level. Treat your eyes to the beautiful views of the snow-capped Himalayas and here you can indulge in horse riding. Also, enjoy hiking there to witness the breathtaking views of the surroundings. There is a golf course here which is the highest golf course in the world with 18 holes where you can enjoy golfing as well.

On arrival, go for a Gondola ride and enjoy other adventure activities to make your trip memorable. Later in the evening, drive back to Srinagar. Have a scrumptious meal at the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Day 3 - Srinagar - Pahalgam - Srinagar

Arise to a mouthwatering meal and leave the hotel for a full-day excursion of Pahalgam. Situated at the junction of Aru and Sheshnag Rivers, Pahalgam is also known as the valley of shepherds. Encompassed by tall fir-covered mountains and snow-clad peaks, this beautiful hill town offers spectacular sights and is an ideal destination for nature lovers and peace seekers. En route, visit the Saffron fields in Pampore where the saffron has been growing for the past 2,500 years. Admire the enchanting view of the fields and delve into the aroma of Saffron.

Later, continue your journey towards Pahalgam, which attracts a large number of tourists throughout the year owing to its jaw-dropping locales. On arrival, explore the popular tourist attractions of Pahalgam and you can also indulge in adventure activities here including horse riding and river rafting. You can also enjoy shopping for some amazing local items from the market of Pahalgam. After exploring the breathtaking beauty of Pahalgam, start your journey towards Srinagar and en-route visit the Awantipura ruins. The remnants of two Hindu temples were commissioned by King Avanti Varman who ruled the region during the 9th century. These two temples were dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Soak in the serene aura of the tranquil environs. The next attraction is Anantnag Sulphur Springs, which are believed to comprise some medicinal properties. You can take a bath in the hot springs.

In the evening, return to the hotel in Srinagar. Relish the lip-smacking meal and have a restful sleep in your cozy room.

Day 4 - Departure from Srinagar

On the last of the Kashmir trip, wake up to a toothsome breakfast. In the morning, you will have time to indulge in activities on your own. You can shop at the local market and buy some Kashmiri special products for yourself and your loved ones as souvenirs. Later, check out from the hotel and head towards Srinagar Airport to board the flight for your onward journey
