Twenty-five kilometers south-west of Pune, perched on a hill-top, is one of Maharashtra's many forest, Sinhagad, or the Lion Fort.

For enjoying the gorgeous greens Pune offers the Bund gardens on the banks of the river Mula-Mutha.
