Itinerary - Motorbike tour of Uttarakhand

Day 1 - Arrival in Delhi

You arrive at the Delhi Airport where you meet our tour representative who helps you with an assisted transfer to your hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, you can relax for a while. In the afternoon, you may opt for a guided tour of Delhi including the popular attractions of the city. Some of the places that are worth-visiting are India Gate, Akshardham temple, Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar, Red Fort, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple, Laxmi Narayan temple and so on. Enjoy sumptuous Indian and World fares during your welcome dinner party at a popular city restaurant.

Day 2 - Delhi – Corbett Tiger Park (280 Km / 6 Hrs)

On the second day of the tour, leave for Corbett National Park by road, after an early morning breakfast. As you reach, check into your resort and relax for a while, amidst lush green surroundings. In the afternoon, you are introduced to your motorbike- the Royal Enfield 500cc. The captain makes you aware of all the driving rules followed in India. You can later take a ride in and around the wildlife reserve for around 2-3 hours. Admire the lovely scenery.

Return to the resort for an overnight stay.

Day 3 - Corbett – Ranikhet (110 Km / 3 Hrs Ride)

Today, you can opt for a jeep safari inside the Jim Corbett National Park, one of the most popular wildlife reserves in the region. India's oldest National Park, Corbett is known for housing a decent population of the big cats along four species of deer and elephants. The place is also a haven for bird watching enthusiasts. This visit is going to be an exciting one.

Later, in the afternoon, begin your ride on the meandering roads of the region to arrive at Ranikhet, a beautiful quaint hill station, located amidst Kumaon Mountains. As you arrive, check-into a hotel. If time and energy permits, you can explore the surroundings on your own. Ideal for those looking for peaceful vacations, Ranikhet boasts of a salubrious weather, old temples and a number of popular scenic trekking routes.

Day 4 - Ranikhet - Almora - Kausani (140 Km / 6 Hrs Ride)

On day, after breakfast, ride your bike to Kausani. On the way halt at Almora, another lovely hill station of Uttarakhand. This place is extremely popular for its exotic wildlife, tasty cuisine, exquisite handicrafts and a rich cultural heritage. Your ride journey here would be a pleasant experience. Later, continue to Kausani. On arrival, check-in at a hotel. Now you can relax for a while. Referred to as the 'Switzerland of India', Kausani has mesmerizing scenery and relaxing environment. If time permits, you can enjoy a ride in and around the hill town. While being away from the hustle-bustle of the city, admire the peace spread all around.

Day 5 - Kausani – Pipalkoti (160 Km / 6 Hrs Ride)

Have your breakfast and begin your ride towards the tiny beautiful hamlet called Pipalkoti, located at an altitude of 1260 m above the sea level. On arriving in Pipalkoti, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel. Take rest for a while. You are now free to explore the area in and around Pipalkoti. Indulge in the activities of your interest. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the snow-clad Himalayan peaks.

Day 6 - Piplakoti – Chamba (210 Km / 6 Hrs Ride)

Today, after breakfast, start your motorcycle to Chamba, placed on the right bank of Ravi River. The road journey from Pipalkpoti and Chamba would be unforgettable. You treat your eyes to the lovely views of dense pine forests, several cascading waterfalls and a few hidden parts of the Himalayas. Upon reaching, complete the check-in formalities and relax. The unspoilt scenic beauty of Chamba is going to completely mesmerize you. The rest of the day is at leisure and you can spend the day as per your own preference. Located at an altitude of 1600 above the sea level, this place has superb views of deodars and pines. Dating back to the 6th century, this place is the base for a number of excursions and houses some great architectural beauties.

Day 7 - Chamba – Rishikesh (70 Km / 2 Hrs Ride)

On the 7th day of the tour, post breakfast, ride your bike to the holy city of Rishikesh, also known as 'Yoga Capital of India'. Today is going to be the last day when you are going to enjoy a ride on this motorcycle. From Chamba to Rishikesh, it is a 30-km ride along the free flowing Henval River. As you reach, check in at a hotel. You can rest for some time. Later in the day, you can partake in white water rafting in the waters of River Ganga. Post this activity, you are free to explore the place at your own pace. You may visit the very popular Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula.

Day 8 - Rishikesh–Delhi (250 Km / 6 Hrs Drive)

After breakfast today, return back to Delhi by road in an air-conditioned car. After reaching, check-in at a hotel and take some rest. The day, thereafter, is at leisure. You can explore the remaining attractions and visit the popular markets of Delhi.

Day 9 - Departure from Delhi

In the morning, get on time transfer to the Airport to board a flight for your onward destination.
