Forts and Palaces Tour - Day 01

On the 1st day of the forts and palaces tour, you arrive at Delhi where the India tourist and tour guide meets you and drives you to the hotel. You stay overnight at the hotel.

On the morning of the 2nd day the tour package includes tours to several tourist destinations in Delhi. These include tours to the Laxmi Narayan Temple, the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, the Gandhi memorial, India Gate and a number of buildings that house offices of the Government of India. You also get an opportunity to enjoy the sound and light show in the evening at the Red Fort. The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan constructed the Red Fort in the year 1648. Inside the walls of the Red Fort are plush marble palaces, mosques, private apartments and public halls. A long and deep moat surrounds the outer walls of the Red Fort. The main entrance to the Red Fort is called the Lahori Darwaza.

Forts and Palaces Tour - Day 03

On the 3rd day the tour package includes an early morning drive to Mandawa. Mandawa lies in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, India. On your arrival at Mandawa, Rajasthan, India the India tourist and tour guide helps you check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon the tour package includes tours to the havelis of Mandawa. Havelis are mansions that were constructed at different points of time in history by rich merchants, royalty and well-to-do families. The havelis located in the Mandawa region in Rajasthan, India are known for the artistically and beautifully painted frescoes on their walls. Most of these havelis are constructed in a particular architectural style with a central courtyard that is surrounded by rooms on all sides. Even the balconies of the rooms overlook the courtyard.

On the morning of the 4th day the tour package includes a drive to Nawalgarh. The India tourist and tour guide arranges tours to the havelis of Nawalgarh. The havelis in Nawalgarh are known for the fine frescoes and paintings on their walls. Most of the havelis in this part of Rajasthan were constructed by the Marwari merchants in the early 19th century. Some of the havelis of importance are the Aath Haveli complex, Bansidhar Bhagat haveli, Anandilal Poddar haveli and Chokhani haveli. After your tours to the havelis in Nawalgarh the India tourist and tour guide drives you to Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. On your arrival at Bikaner you check in at the hotel. On the 5th day the tour package includes tours to the tourist destinations in Bikaner. You visit the famous Junagadh Fort. The construction of the Junagadh Fort was completed in the year 1593. A 986-meter wall surrounds the entire fort. There are two entrances to the fort and the main wall has 37 bastions. The main gate is called the Suraj Pol. There are 37 palaces located inside the Junagadh fort. Besides these there are a number of pavilions and temples located inside the fort. The museum located inside the fort has manuscripts, weapons, jewelry and decorations that were used by the inhabitants of the fort. Apart from your tour to the Junagadh fort you also visit the 16th century Bhand Jain temple and the camel breeding farm. The India tourist and tour guide also organizes camel safaris for you. On the morning of the 6th day the tour package includes an early morning drive to Jaisalmer. Once you reach Jaisalmer you check-in to a hotel. You have the option to spend the day as you please. You stay at the hotel overnight.

On the 7th day the tour package includes tours to the places of tourist interest in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India. You visit the Jaisalmer Fort that is located atop the Tricuta Hill. The most important places of tourist interest within the Jaisalmer fort are the various temples of the fort and the Megh Durbar. The Jaisalmer Fort is also known as the Golden fort because the fort seems to blend in with the sandy desert all around it. You can also go on tours to tourist destinations such Patwon-Ki-Haveli and Salim Singh-Ki-Haveli. These havelis are known for the excellent latticework and intricate carvings. On the 8th day the tour package includes a tour to the Sam sand dunes. The India tourist and tour guide arranges for camel safari so that you can get a feel of the desert life in Rajasthan, India. You come back to hotel and stay at the hotel overnight.

On the 9th day the tour package includes a morning drive to Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Once you arrive at Jodhpur, you can check-in at the hotel. You are free to spend the day as you please. You stay at the hotel overnight. The foundation of Jodhpur was laid by Rao Jodha. Jodhpur served as the capital of the state of Marwar.

On the 10th day the tour package includes an entire days sightseeing tour of Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The tour package includes tours to Mehrangarh Fort, other palaces and the Jaswant Thada. The Mehrangarh Fort is located on top of a hill. There are a number of palaces and buildings within the fort premises. Enroute to Udaipur you visit the famous Ranakpur temples, of which the Chaturmukh temples are the most important. Arrive and check in into hotel. On the 13th day the tour package includes visits to several tour destinations in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. These include the Jagdish temple, Saheliyon - Ki - Bari, Lake Palace located in the middle of the Lake Pichola and the Nagda temples. After you spend the entire day sightseeing you come back to the hotel. You stay overnight at the hotel.

On the 14th day the tour package includes a drive to Pushkar. Once you reach Pushkar, you check-in at the hotel. You are free to spend the day at leisure. You stay overnight at the hotel. There is a temple dedicated to Lord Brahma, which is the only one of its kind in India. Khwaja Moin-Uddin-Chishti's dargah is an important place of pilgrimage. On the morning of the 16th day the tour package includes an excursion to the famous Amber fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. You can go on an elephant joy ride. On the 17th day of the tour the tour package includes a drive to Agra and on the way you also go on a tour to the deserted town of Fatehpur Sikri, the Palace of Jodha Bai and the Buland Darwaza. Once you reach Agra, you check-in at the hotel and stay at the hotel overnight.

Forts and Palaces Tour - Day 18

The tour package includes a morning tour of Agra. You visit the Taj Mahal, Itmad-Ud-Daula's Tomb and the Red Fort. Once you have completed a tour of the places of tourist interest in Agra, the tour package includes an afternoon drive to Delhi. You check in at the hotel in Delhi, freshen up and have your dinner and then proceed to your onward destination.
