7. Qutub Minar
How can you tour Delhi and not visit Qutub Minar? Not fair! One of the most popular places to see in Delhi with kids, Qutub Minar is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that showcases the grandeur of the past. It is one of the tallest minarets in the world built at 72.5 meters in height. In 1192, Qutab-ud-din Aibak built Qutub Minar, which is believed to have marked the arrival of Muslim rulers in the country.
The tower has five storeys with the first three built with red sandstone and the fourth and fifth with marble and sandstone. There is also a 7-meter high Iron Pillar (from the Gupta period) in Qutub Minar Complex. It is believed that if you can encircle it with your hands while standing with your back to it, your wish will be fulfilled.

Chidiya Ghar was built to increase the recreational value of Delhi as well as the level of knowledge among people. Before visiting, just remember to not take food items inside as they are allowed, except for milk and porridge for babies. You can eat at the cafes built inside the park. Also teasing or hurting the animals is a punishable offense.

These are – India’s very own Taj Mahal, the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Colosseum of Rome, the Pyramids of Giza, the Statue of Christ the Redeemer, the Statue of Liberty, and the Eiffel Tower.

11. Jantar Mantar
Jantar Mantar is also one of the well-known places to visit in Delhi with family. It represents the scientific advancement of ancient India and is one of the five observatories (others are in Ujjain, Jaipur, Varanasi, and Mathura) built by Maharaja Jai Singh of Jaipur in 1724. His knowledge of astronomy was exceptional.
Also, Jai Singh always thought of the betterment of the masses by abolishing practices like Sati. It is quite interesting to know that this observatory was active for 7 years but due to the construction of tall buildings around it, Jantar Mantar no longer gives the correct calculations.
