Itinerary - North India – Forts and Palaces

Day 1 - New Delhi

Upon your arrival at the Delhi airport / Station, meet our representative and transfer to the hotel, get relax and overnight stay.

Day 2 - In New Delhi

After breakfast take city tour covering India Gate - the memorial of martyrs, Parliament House – The Government Headquarters, Laxmi Narayan Temple – The Place of Gods, Humayun's Tomb, Lotus Temple (Bahia Temple), Jama Masjid, Red Fort - The red stone magic and the Qutab Minar Complex among others. Drive back to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 3 - New Delhi-Jaipur

Today morning after breakfast drive to Jaipur, the Pink city. On arrival, check into the hotel. Get relax in the hotel, afternoon can visit the local market , evening Chokidhani enjoy royal Rajasthani dinner with cultural program. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 4 - In Jaipur

In the morning visit Amber Fort. Take an elephant ride here. Later back to the hotel , take breakfast . In the afternoon, take a city tour covering City Palace, a colossal monument that occupies a massive area – neatly sectioned in an array of gardens, courtyards and buildings, presenting the perfect blend of Mughal and Rajasthani architecture. Later visit the Royal Observatory – a medieval building that was once the refuge of scientists and inventors. Return to the hotel where overnight stay has been pre-arranged.

Day 5 - Jaipur – Agra

Today morning after breakfast drive to Agra, the city that is home to the world-renowned Taj Mahal. On the way, visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1569 and the erstwhile capital of the Mughal Empire.

Once you arrive, check-in at the hotel. Later you will proceed to explore the Taj City Agra.

Taj Mahal ( Closed on Each Friday )- This wonder of the world is the perfect example of the intricacy and brilliance of Persian and Mughal architecture. It was constructed by Emperor Shah Jahan, in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. Today, the Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it continues to hold the same magical appeal, attracting million of tourists a year.

Agra Fort - It is also designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. History unfolds in front of your eyes as you walk through the many structures inside the fort, like Diwan-i-Khas, Khaas Mahal, etc. Agra Fort was one of the most important forts during the Mughal period and is one of the finest places to see in Agra today.

Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb - Another Mughal mausoleum on the bank of the river Yamuna, Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb is one of the best places to visit in Agra. Itimad-ud-Daula is sometimes referred to as the “baby Taj” or a draft of the Taj Mahal.

Evening if time permits you may enjoy Shopping and come back to hotel for an overnight Stay at Agra.

Day 6 - Agra - Delhi

Post breakfast, start the journey for Delhi, on the way, visiting Sikandra, the Tomb of Akbar. On arrival, check into the hotel. Afternoon is booked for shopping. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 7 - Leave Delhi

Get transferred to the airport to catch a flight to your home destination.
