Itinerary - Gangtok Pelling Darjeeling Tour

Day 1 - Arrival in Darjeeling

Your Gangtok Pelling Darjeeling tour starts with arrival at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station (Siliguri). Our representative shall drive to Darjeeling (62 km), which is a colonial hill station in the Indian state of West Bengal, encircled by snow-covered mountains and dense, thick forests.

Day 2 - Darjeeling Sightseeing

The monastery features a 15 ft statue of Lord Buddha as one of its main attractions. Later, move towards Batasia Loop, a lush green toy train pathway loop with the most captivating sights.

First, visit the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, housing a variety of animals, and the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, one of the world's best mountaineering institutes. Day 3 - Darjeeling - Kalimpong (52 km/2.5 hours)

Day 4 - Kalimpong - Pelling (90 km/3.5 hours)/span>

After breakfast, check out from the hotel to drive from Kalimpong to Pelling. A hill station in the western part of Sikkim, Pelling is positioned at 6800 ft enclosed with wild dense forest, perfect for unwinding in the lap of nature. Upon arrival, you will check in at the hotel and embark on a sightseeing tour of the city.

Visit Kanchenjunga Falls, one of the largest waterfalls; it is undisturbed by urbanization and thus, offers a peaceful ambiance. Move ahead towards Rimbi Waterfalls near Pelling that leads to the beautiful Rimbi River, famous for recreational activities like fishing.

Day 5 - Pelling - Gangtok (129 km/4.5 hours)

Day 6 - Excursions from Gangtok

It is also home to numerous migratory birds and has shops selling jewelry and Yak cheese. Yak rides can be enjoyed here against a scenic backdrop.

Visit Lord Shiva Temple, positioned on the banks of Tsomgo Lake and encircled by steep, snow-covered mountains. After a fun-filled day, return to the hotel in Gangtok.
