Your Ladakh tour starts today. Reach Delhi airport to catch your flight to Leh. Upon arrival at Leh meet and receive a warm welcome from our tour representative. He will further assist you with a guided transfer to one of the pre-decided hotels. Complete the check-in formalities and enjoy the day leisurely while acclimatizing yourself.

On Day 2 of your Ladakh trip, you will be visiting the famous Alchi Monastery. Reckoned as one of the popular tourist destinations and the oldest monasteries in Ladakh, the gompa receives a huge footfall. Featuring the oldest surviving minutely carved paintings, the Gompa lies on the left bank of the Indus River.
En route, you will drive across the Magnetic Hill. A hotspot for avid bikers, the place steals the limelight for a number of reasons. You can find many bikers defying the laws of gravity here. Afterward, there is a halt at the confluence of Rivers Zanskar and Indus in Nimu. Enjoy a short break and click lots of candid pictures. This is followed by continuing your drive to the monastery. On your way back to the hotel, delight in an excursion to the Military Hall of Fame. Constructed by the Indian Army, the museum speaks volume about the chivalry of the soldiers who happily laid their lives for India.

Day 3 of your Ladakh trip package is reserved for an excursion to the Nubra Valley. Get up early in the morning and enjoy a road trip to the valley. While on your way, drive past Khardung La. Cherish an excursion to the Hundur and Diskit monasteries, lying in close proximity to each other. Nestled in a village of the same name, the Hundur Gompa is a popular Buddhist Monastery. Whereas the Diskit Monastery belongs to the Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism. A huge statue of Maitreya Buddha in the gompa beguiles the onlookers. Once done with the monastery tour, get ready for yet another amazing experience. Now you will be exploring the white sand dunes. Here, you will partake in Camel Safari on double-humped camels. Also known as Bactarian Camels, these creatures are found only in Nubra.

Your Ladakh travel package also includes an excursion to the Pangong Lake. While on your way, you will drive past Chang La. A high mountain pass in Ladakh, Chang La commands good driving skills owing to its steepness. From here, your drive resumes to the lake meanwhile crossing Tangtse and Durbuk villages. Small yet enchanting, Durbuk village exudes its own charm. On the other hand, Tangtse is famous for housing a monastery of the same name.
You will reach the lake in the afternoon. Also known as Pangong Tso, the lake is a mesmerizing jewel of Leh-Ladakh. Set-up your tents nearby to enjoy camping at Pangong Lake. Treat your eyes to the marvelous views of the surrounding area. The lake is known to change colors throughout the day. From azure to light blue to green, it even becomes grey too! After relaxing for a while, visit the villages located nearby to get an insight into the local culture of Leh.
