Wild Flower Hall

Introduction

Set amidst 23 acres of pine and cedar woods, the Wild Flower Hall is an Oberoi resort located in Mashobra in the north Indian state of Himachal Pradesh where you can experience heavenly pleasure. It is about a 4 hour drive from Shimla. It was the former residence of Lord Kitchener which has been restylized to make it even grander. The Wildflower Hall gives you the unique privilege to be at one with nature. The rooms offer stunning view of the majestic Himalayas and the Pine and Cedar forests.

Accommodation

There are a total of 87 rooms and suites in the Wild Flower hall. The rooms can be sub-divided into deluxe rooms, Executive suites and Lord Kitchener suite.

There is a spacious marble bathroom attached to each room. All the rooms can boast of a personal bar, a color television with satellite connection, a DVD player and a direct dial telephone. All the rooms are very tastefully decorated with furniture’s that makes one reminiscent of the colonial period. The rooms have teak floorings. Rugs reflective of the skills of the local craftsmen are there in each room. The best place to live in Wild Flower Hall is the Lord Kitchener suite. This has a four poster bed and a second bathroom.

Dining

There are two restaurants at the Wild Flower Hall which provides you with the choicest of Indian and International cuisine. The unique feature of this restaurant is that it has an open terrace where you can sit and enjoy the magnificent view of the Himalayas while eating. The Cavalry bar has ostentatious decorations on its wooden panels and is just the ideal place to relax sipping your favorite drink. There is a great variety of drinks from which to choose from.

Lutyens is a restaurant that specializes in traditional Indian cooking but it is not open at all times of the year. You can get a taste of these special delicacies in the high season only and that too only for dinner. If you prefer eating in your own room you are completely at liberty to do so because there is a 24 hour in-room dining and butler service.

Other facilities

There are two large meeting rooms, a separate boardroom and syndicate rooms which are provided with all kind of modern equipments and hence ideal for corporate meetings.

You can relax in the swimming pool or the Jacuzzi. There is a world class spa which provides you with the best of Ayurvedic treatment that completely reenergizes your mind and body. There is a state of the art gym and a Yoga instructor for you to stay fit. Book and music lovers need not carry their books along because there is a library with a large collection of books, CD’s and DVD’s.
