Our two week long ‘Culture of India’ journey will give you an insight into the rich cultural and architectural heritage of India.

The destinations covered in this itinerary offer you a heady mix of Hinduism, Islam and Buddhism cultural heritage.

The journey, beginning from Delhi, will take you to lucknow, Varanasi, Khajurhao, Agra, Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur.

Itinerary - Culture of India

Day 1 - Delhi (Arrival)

Upon arrival at the New Delhi airport, meet our tour representative who'll assist you in smooth transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel.

Day 2 - Delhi (Sightseeing)

Post a sumptuous breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. The famous places you will visit here includes Red Fort, Gandhi Memorial, Humayun's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Qutub Minar, India Gate and Parliament House. After a full day sightseeing tour, return back to the hotel for night stay.

Day 3 - Delhi - Lucknow

In the morning, visit the famous Akshardham Temple, one of the biggest temples in the world with museum, theatre and sprawling lawns. The afternoon is free to explore the local markets of Connaught Place. In the evening, visit Kala Kendra to learn about different classical dance forms. Later, move to the railway station to board the train for Lucknow. Stay overnight on board the train.

Day 4 - Lucknow (Arrival) - Sightseeing in Lucknow

Today, you will arrive in Lucknow-'The City of Nawabs'. Upon arrival, drive to the hotel for check-in. Later, go on a full day sightseeing tour of Lucknow- Rumi Darwaza, Clock Tower, Bada Imambara, Chota Imambara and the Official Residence of British. The evening is free to relax and explore the colorful markets of Lucknow. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 5 - Lucknow - Varanasi (290 km, 7 hours)

Today, you will be visiting Varanasi. With a rich history of 4000 years, Varanasi is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. Board the train to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check into the hotel to relax. In the evening, visit the holy banks of the River Ganges for Ganga Aarti. Thereafter, enjoy an exciting boat ride on the river Ganges. Stay overnight in the hotel.

Day 6 - Varanasi - Sarnath

Start your day with an excursion to Sarnath, one of the sacred destinations for Buddhist pilgrims. This is the place Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. The attractions you will visit here includes Ashok Pillar, Dhamek Stupa and Archaeological Museum. After exploring Sarnath, go out on a sightseeing tour of Varanasi temples such as Bharat Mata Temple, Bharat Kala Bhavan, Tulsi Manas Temple, Kashivishwanath Temple and Benares Hindu University. Stay overnight at the hotel in Varanasi.

Day 7 - Varanasi - Khajuraho

Today, drive to the airport to board flight to Khajuraho. Upon arrival, check into the hotel for night stay. Later, go out to explore the Western and Eastern Group of Temples. These temples are famous for the sensuous carvings on their outer walls. Stay overnight at the hotel in Khajuraho.

Day 8 - Khajuraho - Agra via Jhansi

Today, after breakfast checkout from hotel and  drive to Jhansi to board the train for Agra. Upon arrival Agra, check into the hotel for overnight stay in Agra.

Day 9 - Agra - Jaipur

Pack your bags to leave for Jaipur. On the way, pay a visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the Mughal city abandoned in the olden days. Although some parts are left in ruin, the city has nevertheless not lost its charm. Marvel at the Buland Darwaza, one of the largest doorways in the world. Explore the tourist attractions including Jama Masjid, Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal Bhawan, Panch Mahal, etc.

Later, continue with your journey by road towards Pink City Jaipur. On arriving in the city, check into a pre-booked hotel for night stay.

Day 10 - Jaipur

Post Breakfast you will proceed to enjoy local sightseeing

Amber Fort : Located amidst the picturesque and rocky Aravalli Hills, Amber Palace is a not-to-be-missed place to in Jaipur. It is a fort built with great artistic taste. We can arrange an Elephant Ride at additional cost.

The City Palace is the main palace from where the Maharaja reigned from. The palace includes the Chandra Mahan and Mubarak Mahal along with various other buildings within the complex.

Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, or also called Palace of the Breeze, is one of the important places to visit in Jaipur. It is regarded as the signature building of Jaipur and was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh.

Jantar Mantar in Jaipur is the largest stone astronomical observatory in the World. It is located just next to the city palace of Jaipur in Rajasthan.

Evening you may enjoy at Birla Mandir in Jaipur also has significant place among the beliefs and traditions of the locals and recently, it has gained more power as a superior tourist destination as well.

Now come back to Hotel for an overnight Stay.

Day 11 - Jaipur - Jodhpur (315 km, 5 hours)

Today, hit the road to Jodhpur. On the way, halt in Pushkar, famous for its Brahma Temple and Camel Fair. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, check into the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 - Jodhpur Sightseeing

Post breakfast you will proceed to enjoy the blue city Jodhpur.

Mehrangarh Fort is one of the largest forts in the country. It is located at the top of a 410 feet elevated hill and guarded by huge walls.

The Phool Mahal is the most lavish hall present in the Mehrangarh Fort. It served as a pleasure dome for male members of the royal family.

Jaswant Tada is a royal cenotaph built in white marble. It has a small pond and a pretty garden next to it.

Voted as the Best Hotel in the world, Umaid Bhawan Palace is also a major tourist attraction in Jodhpur. Because of its location on the highest point in Jodhpur, the Chittar Hill, it is also referred to as the Chittar Palace.

The Ghanta Ghar in Jodhpur is a magnificent clock tower in the centre of the city which offers a brilliant panoramic view of the city from the top, surrounded by the busiest and largest marketplace of Jodhpur.

Come back to Hotel for an overnight Stay.

Day 13 - Jodhpur - Udaipur (260 km, 6 hours)

Today, head straight to Udaipur, located 260 kilometers from Jodhpur. On the way, stop at Ranakpur. Ranakpur is home to the beautiful Jain temples dating back to the 15th century. On reaching Udaipur, check in at the hotel for night stay.

Day 14 - Udaipur

Today, in the morning, embark on a sightseeing tour of Udaipur covering City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandir, Saheliyon Ki Bari and Lake Pichola. In the evening, enjoy boat cruise on the Lake Pichola. Stay overnight at the hotel in Udaipur.

Day 15 - Udaipur - Delhi - Departure

On the final day, drive to the airport to board flight to Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi, move to the international airport to board the flight back home.
